Advice for Writers

*Read. Read. Read. Read. Read. Read. Read. And don't forget to READ! This is exercise for your writing muscles.

*Be attentive.

*Be curious.

*Be relentless.

*Ignore naysayers.

*When somebody says "Anybody can write a children's book," challenge them to   try it. With a deadline and a designated word count.

*Invest the time and energy. Even writers have to "pay their dues."
